Replying to emails from VanMan
Respond to customer emails directly from VanMan without switching to your inbox.
When an email is captured against a job, you can reply to it directly from VanMan. Your reply is sent from your connected email account and threaded into the existing conversation.
Navigate to the job that has the email you want to reply to. Open the Messages tab to see all communications for this job.
Scroll to the email you want to respond to. Captured emails are shown with a mail icon and include the sender, subject, and body preview.
Click the Reply button on the email. The reply drawer will open with the original email quoted below your compose area.
Type your response and click Send. VanMan sends the reply from your connected email address (Gmail or Outlook). The customer sees it as a normal email reply from you — not from VanMan.
Your reply is threaded into the original email conversation. The customer's email client will show it as part of the same thread.
Your sent reply also appears on the job's Messages tab so your team can see the full conversation.
The reply includes the job number in the subject line automatically. This ensures any further replies from the customer are also captured against the job.
