Managing incoming enquiries

When a customer submits a booking request through your online form, it appears in VanMan as a new enquiry. You can review the details, contact the customer, and move the enquiry through your pipeline.

View new enquiries

Navigate to Bookings to see all incoming enquiries. New submissions appear at the top of the list with a New status badge. Each entry shows the customer name, move date, and addresses.

Review the details

Click an enquiry to open the full details including all form fields the customer submitted — addresses, preferred dates, contact information, and any notes they included.

Contact the customer

Use the customer's phone number or email to follow up. Once you have contacted them, update the status to Contacted so your team knows this lead is being handled.

Send a quote or confirm

After discussing the details with the customer, move the enquiry to Quoted if you have sent pricing, or directly to Confirmed if the customer is ready to book.

VanMan sends you an email notification each time a new enquiry is submitted so you can respond quickly. Fast response times help convert more leads into confirmed jobs.

Check your bookings dashboard at the start of each day to catch any overnight enquiries. Responding within a few hours gives you the best chance of winning the job.
