Drag-and-drop rescheduling
VanMan lets you reschedule jobs by dragging them directly on the calendar. You can move a job to a different day, a different truck, or both in a single action.
Click and hold a job block
On the weekly calendar view, click and hold the job block you want to move. The block will lift slightly to indicate it is ready to be dragged.
Drag to the new position
Move the job block to the desired day and truck lane. As you drag, the calendar highlights valid drop zones. Release the block to confirm the new position.
Confirm the change
The job is rescheduled immediately. The new date and truck assignment are saved automatically and the change is visible to all operators and drivers in real time.
Drag-and-drop works on the weekly view. If a truck already has a job at the target time, VanMan will warn you about the conflict before completing the move.
What gets updated
When you drag a job to a new position, VanMan updates the job date, start time, and truck assignment based on where you drop it. All other job details — customer information, addresses, notes, and charges — remain unchanged.
Drag-and-drop is the fastest way to handle last-minute schedule changes. Instead of opening the job and editing fields manually, you can rearrange your entire day in seconds.
