Navigating the weekly view
The weekly view is your primary scheduling interface in VanMan. It displays all jobs for the current week in a time-grid layout, with each truck represented as a coloured lane running horizontally across the days.
The weekly view updates in real time. When another operator creates or moves a job, the change appears on your calendar immediately without needing to refresh the page.
Reading the calendar
Each row on the calendar corresponds to one of your trucks. Jobs appear as coloured blocks within the row, sized according to their estimated duration. The block displays the customer name, pickup address, and job status so you can see what is happening at a glance without clicking into each job.
Navigating between weeks
Use the left and right arrows at the top of the calendar to move between weeks. Click Today to jump back to the current week. The date range is displayed in the header so you always know which week you are viewing.
Viewing job details
Click any job block on the calendar to open the job detail panel. From here you can view full customer information, addresses, notes, and the activity log. You can also edit the job or send a message to the customer directly from this panel.
Hover over a job block to see a quick summary tooltip with the customer name, time, and truck assignment without opening the full detail panel.
