Switching between day, week, and month views

VanMan offers three calendar views so you can see your schedule at the level of detail that suits your current task. Switch between them using the view toggle in the top-right corner of the calendar.

Day view

The day view shows all jobs for a single date, arranged by truck and time. Use this view when you need a detailed look at today's schedule or want to check exact start times and durations for each job. It is particularly useful on busy days when you need to coordinate timing between trucks.

Week view

The week view is the default and most commonly used view. It displays a full seven-day grid with truck lanes running horizontally. This is the best view for overall scheduling, spotting gaps in your calendar, and drag-and-drop rescheduling.

Month view

The month view provides a high-level overview of your workload across the entire month. Each day shows a count of scheduled jobs. Click on any day to drill into the day view for full details.

Your selected view persists between sessions. If you prefer the day view, VanMan will open to the day view each time you visit the calendar until you switch to a different view.

Use the month view at the start of each week to identify quiet days where you could accept additional bookings, then switch to the week view for detailed scheduling.
