Sending invoices from mobile

Operators can generate invoices and send them to customers directly from the VanMan mobile app. This means you can complete a move, create the invoice, and send it before you leave the site.

Open the completed job

From the mobile app, navigate to the job that has been completed. Ensure the charges and line items have been entered in the tally section.

Generate the invoice

Tap Create invoice. VanMan generates an invoice using the customer details and charges from the job. Review the line items, amounts, and tax to make sure everything is correct.

Send to the customer

Choose how to deliver the invoice:

  • SMS — Sends a link to the invoice via text message.
  • Email — Sends the invoice as an email with a PDF attachment or inline view.

Tap Send to deliver the invoice to the customer.

If you have connected Xero, the invoice is automatically synced to your Xero account when it is created. There is no need to manually push it later from the web dashboard.

Send the invoice while still on-site so you can walk the customer through the charges if they have questions. This reduces disputes and speeds up payment.
